Happy October! The month of falling forward!

I am thankful for your interest and curiosity in learning how an ordinary family like mine survived the ordeal of escaping Vietnam communists in 1979, how we took all those uncertainties challenging times, and turned around to where we are today.
Our family arriving in the United States was no accident.
We were found, fed, and restored forty years ago by the people in this incredible country!
It’s because of heroes like you, who make the world a better place.
Now I have the same privilege to help the people in my local community, to inspire them with my story to help people who need a second chance.
For the month of October, I am donating $2 of each book ordered through my website to benefit Find, Feed, Restore, an organization that provides housing for homeless families with children.
Thank you to those of you who registered to pre-order my book before it was published and people who already bought my book.
In case you are not aware, the book has been available on Amazon in both e-book and paperback since early September.
It is also available through my website if you would like an autographed copy.
I hope the book will inspire you in finding your own opportunities to create a better life for yourself and to help the people around you.
